News Articles and OCPAC write up

Here are two of the news articles that were written about the accident.

Fresno Bee Article

Long Beach Article

Also, the link for the memorial fund is now available at the OCPAC. I will include the picture and part off the write up here which explains what Jason's job was and what the memorial fund is being established for:

"As a manager in the Center's Education and Community Programs department, Jason was responsible for the Arts Teach program, presenting a roster of over 80 professional artists in music, dance, theatre and the visual arts from around the globe, to reach 450,000+ students and teachers annually through school assemblies, student workshops, teacher professional development sessions, family nights and residencies.

In lieu of gifts, a memorial fund has been established in his name. Your contribution to the Jason Siebert Memorial Fund will endow on-going support for teachers, schools, and teaching artists to bring the performing arts into classrooms throughout the region… work that Jason was devoted to during his lifetime. Contributions may be made online or via mail."

  2. it would be so wonderful if, at some point after things have settled down, you could post the full list of songs that were played during the prelude to Jason's service in Fresno today. They were all so wonderful and many I had not heard before and would love to hear again. Thank you so much for this site.

  3. Jason was a dear friend of mine. He was not afraid to go up to anyone and just say hello. He was so polite. I had the opprotunity of attending the OCPAC Memorial Service. Put me into tears- it was beautiful- as this great man, and friend was.

Jason- you are truly missed my friend. Save me a seat with you in the afterlife. I miss you
